This is not a Positive Action curriculum certification training. This is a coaching session designed to provide support to implement the Positive Action Elementary programs with confidence, results, and fidelity to the implementation model.

Audience
This curriculum technical assistance session is intended for Youth Prevention (YP) program providers who are approved by Texas Health and Human Services Commission to implement the Positive Action Elementary curriculum.

Registration
Registration priority will be given to YP program staff who have never completed an official Positive Action Training.

Kendra Tapie has dedicated herself to Prevention since 2007 and is the Region Director for Serenity House Impact Youth Prevention Program. She served for 5 years as the Chair for the Taylor Alliance for Prevention Coalition in Abilene, Texas that worked with the community to address environmental strategies. She is passionate about training and using her experience to equip, refresh and encourage others to be more effective in the Prevention field. She obtained a degree in Public Speaking and ME.d in Counseling and Human Development. She is an Advanced Certified Prevention Specialist.
